I spent a week at Sula with my family - my boyfriend and my two girls at 4 years and 3 months. It has been an absolutely fantastic stay. An experience far from the life we are used to in the city. When we were there a little out of season there was very quiet and the city could almost seem completely deserted until we came down in the grocery store and met the locals in the coffee corner. The silence on the island was very inspirational away from the everyday hustle. We arrived in the evening and just managed to get into the lighthouse keeper home when it began to storm. It was fascinating to experience. The house lays on top of the island right next to the lighthouse with an amazing view. The island's natural and rocky landscape is beautiful - and despite the island is quite small, we have been on lots of walks and discoveries. It is amazing that such a small island has an interest in art and gives the possibility of a stay of so much inspiration and peace. Me and my family really enjoyed the stay. Nature, sea, weather, rocks and the light of the lighthouse beautiful prism night. Thanks for a great stay. To see some of my work please visit : www.rikkeflensberg.com
